CareerFitter.com is owned and operated by CareerFitter, LLC. By accessing or using the CareerFitter website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.


1. Scope of Agreement

These Terms apply to any user ("User") who uses, registers for, or accesses any part of the Site, including our assessments, tools, and user dashboard. These Terms also apply to services offered through affiliate links or access codes.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You are legally permitted to use our services.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Use of Site Content

CareerFitter grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may:

  • Access your results via your user dashboard.
  • Share your results with trusted advisors.
  • Print copies of your results for personal use.

You may not:

  • Resell, republish, or commercially exploit any part of the Site or its content.
  • Use content in legal disputes or arbitration.
  • Modify, reverse engineer, or replicate our assessments.

4. Acceptable Use

To ensure a safe experience for all users, you agree not to:

  • Share your login credentials.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers.
  • Use the Site for unlawful or prohibited purposes.
  • Upload or transmit harmful code, unsolicited promotions, or offensive material.

5. Payment and Refund Policy

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. You agree to pay all applicable fees at the time of purchase. If you believe there’s a billing issue, contact us within 30 days.

Refunds:

  • Only one refund is allowed per user.
  • Requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase by emailing [email protected] with your invoice number.
  • Allow up to 14 days for your bank to process the refund.

6. Affiliate and Access Code Use

  • You agree the purchaser of the code may view your name, username, and results.
  • If you don’t complete the test, your access may be revoked so the code can be reused.

7. Privacy

Your data is stored securely and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
  • We respect your privacy and only share your information with essential service providers who help operate our platform.
  • We do not store your credit card information.
  • All passwords are encrypted for your protection.

8. No Guarantee of Results

Our assessments are informational tools only. They are based on your input and should not be the sole basis for major decisions. CareerFitter is not liable for how results are interpreted or used.

9. Limitation of Liability

CareerFitter is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This includes issues related to service availability, user-generated content, or third-party access.

10. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including assessments and reports, are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce or use them beyond personal use without written permission.

11. Arbitration Agreement

In the event of a dispute, you agree to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Hearings may be held remotely or in Asheville, NC. CareerFitter may seek injunctive relief in court for IP-related issues.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Site and any stored data may be permanently deleted.

13. General Terms

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and CareerFitter.
  • Modifications: We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.
  • Governing Law: North Carolina law governs these Terms.
  • Statute of Limitations: Any claim must be filed within one year.
